 Layaways- require a 10% to 20% deposit with the down payment to be received within 10 days of agreement to buy the piece. I am flexible in my terms to hold an item, but feel that 45 days is a reasonable period to close the transaction, there are exceptions where I will extend this, contingent upon the buyer making payments on an agreed schedule. If such payments are not made, I will keep the deposit and refund the balance via personal check. No relics will be sent for 'pre approval' before a payment in full. This policy is going to be adhered to on all transactions from 1-1-2009 onward. Therefore if you do not agree to these terms, the deposit and/or payments in full not received in 45 days, then you will be accorded a web site credit and the artifact relisted for sale.
