Hudson Bay Company Northwest Trade Gun

The gun was altered to percussion. It probably was made this way at the factory using a flintlock that was on hand. This gun has a 42" long barrel. "I Hollis & Sons" in the two lines on the lock in front of the hammer. The regular "Hollis" monogram behind it. No Fox in Circle, no date. Fine condition. Note: Issac Hollis & sons manufactured guns in Birmingham from 1861-1900. Ex- Ernie Cowles Collection. Published in Paul Fridlunds book "The Northwest Indian Trade gun Collection of Ernie Cowles"
